Interior Demolition.
We Protect What Stays.
Demo Star is the interior demolition contractor Brevard County homeowners and GCs trust to rip out exactly what goes and protect everything that doesn't. Clean scope, clean site, renovation ready on your contractor's start date.

The Part That Matters Most
Ripping Out Is Easy.
Protecting Is the Skill.
Anyone with a sledgehammer can tear out a kitchen. The reason homeowners and GCs across Brevard County send Demo Star in is what's still standing when we leave: the floors that weren't in scope, the walls next to the ones that came down, the finishes your renovation budget depends on.
Timothy Prestano has managed complex demolition and construction projects for more than 25 years, and every interior job runs on the same rule he built Demo Star around: how the job starts shapes how the whole renovation finishes.
Pick Your Project
What Are We
Gutting for You?
Kitchen Demolition
The most common interior demo in Brevard County. We clear the room down to whatever your renovation plan calls for, and the adjacent rooms never know we were there.
- Cabinets, countertops, and islands removed
- Flooring and tile taken up to the subfloor
- Appliances and fixtures removed, with disconnect scope coordinated through your contractor
- Non-structural walls and soffits opened up per your renovation plan
- All debris hauled out the same job
Bathroom Demolition
Small rooms, dense work. Bathrooms pack tile, fixtures, and plumbing into tight spaces, which is exactly where careful demo pays for itself.
- Tubs, showers, vanities, and toilets removed
- Wall and floor tile stripped to a clean substrate
- Non-structural partitions opened per your plan
- Fixtures cleared with plumbing scope coordinated through your contractor
- Debris out the same day, adjacent rooms untouched
Whole-Interior Gut
The full reset: the entire interior comes back to the shell while the structure stays standing. The right call when the bones are good but everything inside has to go. If the bones aren't good, a full house demolition may be the smarter path, and we'll tell you straight which one fits.
- All interior walls, ceilings, and flooring removed per plan
- Cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes stripped throughout
- Structure, exterior, and anything marked to stay fully protected
- Load-bearing elements flagged and resolved before anything moves
- Continuous debris hauling with our own containers and trucks
Commercial Interior Rip-Outs
Retail floors, offices, and tenant improvement demo run through our commercial division with the same protect-what-stays discipline, plus the scheduling reliability GCs build their trade sequence around.
- Retail and office interiors cleared for changeovers and fit-outs
- Tenant improvement demo coordinated GC-direct
- Committed start dates that hold, with one point of contact
- Broom-clean handoff so the next trade walks straight in

"We needed our kitchen and two bathrooms completely gutted before our renovation could start. Demo Star showed up on time, protected the areas we wanted to keep, and had everything cleared in a day and a half. The site was spotless when they left. I would not use anyone else."

Straight Answers
Interior Demo
Questions, Answered.
How do you protect the parts of my home that are staying?
Before anything comes down, we walk the full scope with you and mark exactly what stays and what goes. The staying areas get protected before demo starts, and the crew works to the approved scope only. Nothing outside it gets touched.
How long does interior demolition take?
A single-room rip-out like a kitchen or bathroom typically takes one to two days. A whole-interior gut back to the shell takes longer depending on the size of the home. You get a realistic schedule during the free estimate, and we hold to the committed dates.
Can you gut the interior before my renovation contractor starts?
Yes, that's the most common way homeowners use us. Tell us the date your GC needs the space cleared and we schedule around it, coordinating directly with your contractor so your project starts on time.
What happens to all the debris?
It leaves with us. Demo Star owns its containers and haul trucks, and debris removal is included in every interior demo quote. No dumpster sitting in your driveway for weeks.
What if a wall turns out to be load-bearing?
Then it doesn't come down until the right plan is in place. Anything structural gets flagged and resolved with you and your contractor before we proceed. We never remove anything outside the approved scope, which is exactly why GCs send us in ahead of their own teams.
Do you handle commercial interiors too?
Yes. Retail, office, and tenant improvement rip-outs run through our commercial demolition division across Brevard County and Orlando, from Merritt Island to Rockledge and beyond. Same discipline, bigger floors.
